Tom Girardi Shares Cryptic Answer When Photographer Asks About Estranged Wife Erika Jayne
Tom Girardi shared a cryptic sentiment regarding his estranged wife, Erika Jayne.
Page Six reported that the former lawyer — who was diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in February — was leaving lunch with a friend when he was asked, “Did Erika know anything?”
Girardi paused for a while after hearing the question, while his friend told the reporter that he didn’t want to answer the question.
As they were about to walk away, Girardi told the cameraman, “I think she does.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who filed for divorce from Girardi in November 2020, has maintained that she was unaware of her estranged husband’s alleged embezzlement scam, for which he is accused of stealing funds from clients to pay for the former couple’s own lavish lifestyle.

It is unclear whether or not Girardi was actually confirming Jayne’s involvement in the legal drama, or if his statement will even be admissible in court, considering his mental state.
Girardi is currently under a conservatorship lead by his brother Robert.
The disbarred lawyer is currently staying at an assisted living facility, and he appeared to look frail and confused in the video from Page Six. However, the outlet still reported that he might have just complicated things for his ex-wife.
As OK! previously reported, Jayne was apparently upset to hear that her estranged husband was in rough shape during an episode of the Bravo show on Tuesday, September 22.
“So yesterday was the hearing for Tom's conservatorship so that his brother could take over his affairs. So someone sent me an article about what was said in court," she said to Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. "And there was just this one piece of it that just really bothered me. It says Tom's brother asked the court to give him the authority to place Tom in 'a facility that treats neurocognitive disorders such as dementia."
Jayne revealed that she was “ready to have a nervous breakdown — because regardless of what is going on legally, this is someone I was married to for 22 years.”
