It's Over! 'Jersey Shore' Star Angelina Pivarnick Filed For Divorce From Husband Chris Larangeira Back In January: Report
Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Chris Larangeira back in January of this year.
Whether or not her soon to be ex husband was actually served the papers is still unknown.
The couple, who wed in November of 2019, have always had a "contentious relationship" a source dished to Us Weekly in November of 2020. "She and him are very involved but they butt heads very often, you never know if they're going to be in a good place or upset with each other," the source went on to say.
Although the marriage has been a rocky one, the two were trying to make. Their relationship woes have taken center stage on the current season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. The 35-year old registered EMT, even went on to say in the most recent episode that even though the couple was not doing “amazing," they are at a good place in their relationship and were “working on things.”
The couple has even made public appearances together since the Jersey girl filed divorce papers. The two attended the MTV Movie & TV Awards in May with Larangeira, 42, posting a picture of them posing together on Instagram along with the caption, “Congratulations to my wife and the jersey shore crew so proud of you all.”

The couple started dating in 2017 and got engaged back in January of 2018 when Larangeira romantically proposed over an intimate dinner. At the time Pivarnick stated, "I followed a trail of rose petals all the way to his bed. He proposed and then we laid in the roses."
Their union made headlines when the Jersey Shore alum invited cast mates Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Deena Nicole Cortese to her wedding. The group went on to make a speech about Pivarnick that was less than flattering, causing a fallout within the group.
But the seasoned reality star seems to be moving on, as she told Us Weekly that, "I live day by day, so I’m going to try to forget about the past. My thing is, I forgive too many people too quickly. I’m going to stop doing that, so for 2020, that’s also a new thing. I’m going to keep my circle way smaller, you know? I think right now, all I need is my husband and my family and his family."
She explained that this episode deeply affected her husband. "My husband was distraught and I was acting like I was okay with this. I saw his face and I snapped because I know my husband and I know the look in his eyes. I just couldn’t hold it back anymore. I was also mad don’t get it twisted."
