Travis Kelce's Dad Praises Taylor Swift for Not Being a 'Spoiled Musician': She's 'Very Genuine'

It seems like Taylor Swift has won over Travis Kelce's father, Ed Kelce.

The singer, 33, and the athlete, 34, first sparked romance rumors in September, and now they could be in it for the long haul.

“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed said in a new interview. “We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”

“And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot," he continued. “She's very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.”

As OK! previously reported, the blonde beauty and Ed chatted in the stands while walking one of Travis' games — something the latter brought up during his podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.

“If you know Dad like I know Dad,” Travis said to his sibling, to which he replied, “He shouldn’t be talking to Taylor Swift.”

“If you see dad talking to anybody and you can’t hear what’s happening, who knows where that conversation’s going,” Jason joked. “He’s probably saying, ‘I’ve taken all your CDs out at the local library and I’ve burned them into my computer because that is legal as a tax-paying citizen.'"

Taylor and Travis seem to be going strong, as the two were loved-up in recent photos following the latter's game on Sunday, October 22.

"Travis and Taylor are all in. The two are very into each other and are enjoying their time together but are also planning for the future. Taylor starts her international tour in November, and Travis is planning to be there to spend time with her," a source revealed. "Travis and Taylor are very serious about their careers, and the two bond over that and want to show support for each other whenever they can."

“Travis is different from anybody Taylor has dated before and she is falling for him more and more as the days go by,” another source revealed, adding that Kelce “goes out of his way to make Taylor feel special in any way he can.”
