Gwyneth Paltrow Spills Son Moses Is Proud Of Her For Selling Vibrators: 'You're A Feminist'
A son’s love!
Gwyneth Paltrow has found success outside of Hollywood by selling vibrators and candles that smell like her vagina — and it seems her kids approve.
While speaking to daytime legend Ellen DeGeneres, the 49-year-old mother-of-two spilled her son Moses was on the fence regarding her company Goop selling sex toys, but quickly came around to the idea.
“Can I tell you the sweetest thing? This really happened,” the actress said Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “A few months ago, out of nowhere, he said, ‘Mom, I was really embarrassed for a minute that Goop sold vibrators. And then I realized no, this is great — you’re making people feel not embarrassed to buy something, and that’s great. You’re a feminist.’ I was like, ‘Thank you, my dear!’ It was so cute.”
“It was really, really nice. I’m sure he’s still embarrassed, but at least he’s putting a good spin on it,” she added of her conversation with the 15-year-old.
The Iron Man star also shares 17-year-old daughter Apple with ex-hubby Chris Martin. Paltrow tied the knot with the Coldplay frontman in 2003 before the two called it quits in 2016.
While promoting her upcoming Netflix series Sex, Love & goop, the Oscar winner spilled to Entertainment Tonight how she goes about discussing sex with her kids.
“I try always to be neutral on the topic. I think my generation, we got a lot of messages around sex that made us feel bad about it,” she said. “I try to just be curious. And teenagers are never going to want to talk to their parents about sex ever, so I sort of follow their lead, and luckily in middle school they had a very thorough sex education, so the school handled the kind of birds-and-the-bess parts, and then I am there for any questions.”
“I will always just encourage my children to really listen to themselves, listen to their instincts, listen if something, you know, feels right and to act from that place,” the Shallow Hal actress added.
Paltrow and her current hubby Brad Falchuk met during a chance encounter after she appeared on the hit show Glee in 2014 — she played Holly Holliday and Falchuk was a co-creator of the series.
The duo got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in September 2018.
