Hilary Swank Lists Her Los Angeles Mansion For $10.5 Million — Tour The Resort-Like Vacation Villa With A Movie Theater, Concession Stand
Hilary Swank is saying goodbye to her swanky California oasis.
The Oscar winner listed her Los Angeles home on Friday, October 29, revealing in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, per New York Post, that she and her husband Philip Schneider — along with their several pets — are packing up and heading to Colorado full-time.
Though the 47-year-old has owned the Colorado property since 2016, Swank reportedly told the outlet she and her hubby officially moved there when California went into lockdown amid the pandemic. Swank wanted her five dogs, two parrots and one horse to have space during that uncertain time.
“We’re looking to get a lot more rescues when we have the time,” the Million Dollar Baby star reportedly explained. “We have a nice ranch now that we can bring ’em all.”
Swank first bought her Pacific Palisades home in 2007 for $5.8 million, it was reported, and put the abode on the market for $10.5 million. (The actress briefly put the home on the market in 2012 when she had been living in France. However, she realized she wasn't going to "actually be in France forever," and pulled it off the market.)

The primary suite boasts a large walk-in closet.
The spacious bathroom offers a soaking tub and fireplace, not to mention stunning views through the French doors.
Swank added a 16-seat movie theater and lounge when she first moved into the mansion. Since no movie experience would be complete without popcorn and sweets, the actress also added a concession stand with an antique popcorn machine, candy and beer.
The private balcony in the primary suite offers ocean views.
The property is complete with a guest suite, gym, outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and wet bar.
Described as a "resort-like vacation villa" — via the listing — the estate offers a pool and spa, in addition to a fire pit and fully-equipped cabana.
