Kane Brown and wife Katelyn Jae welcomed their first child together on Tuesday, October 29. The country singer took to Instagram to make the happy announcement and to share the first photo of their newborn daughter Kingsley Rose Brown on October 30.
"KB3 ❤️ welcome to the family Kingsley Rose Brown!!!!" Kane, 26, captioned a snapshot of himself and his wife in the hospital with their newest addition. "Congratulations!! Kingsley you have a wonderfully amazing set of parents!!" one fan wrote in the comments section. "Get ready for a new kind of love you never knew existed. Can't wait for all the new songs you put out with that daddy love," another added. Within an hour of posting, Kane already had more than 300,000 likes on the image.
The couple announced they were expecting a baby in April on Instagram. "It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3. IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the "Homesick" singer wrote on pic of the baby's sonogram.
Katelyn shared a video of herself getting the sonogram and gushed over her pregnancy at the time. "The coolest day of my life by far. I barely could stop laughing / crying to let her get pictures but I am soooooo happy and excited. Kane, I love you so much & am so excited to have an addition to our family to share our everyday fun, travel, & love with," she wrote.
The longtime lovebirds tied the knot in October 2018. They decided to reveal the gender of their unborn child on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet in May 2019.
Kane hit the road with Jason Aldean on their "Ride All Night" tour this summer and his pregnant wife tagged along. Jason's wife Brittany Aldean threw the Brown family a baby shower in August.
"It was just a night to go out and celebrate with them," Jason dished to E! News. "As a new parent waiting on a baby, you're nervous so it kinda gave Katelyn and Kane just a chance to let their hair down a little bit and just enjoy the night and talk to some other people who are new parents and just kind of give them a little bit of encouragement that everything was gonna be cool. And everybody had a great time," he added.
