This is only the first chapter of our sustainability story. We’re committed to becoming better partners in reducing our impact on the planet while staying true to our legacy of fit," NYDJ's Director of Marketing, Laura Burbano, exclusively tells OK!.
Inspired by the overall goal of preserving our lovely planet — with accents of expressions from Marilyn Monroe’s aesthetic from the 1961 movie "The Misfits" — the vintage denim collection features earthy color tones, western fashion influences and feel good fabrics. Plus, it has so many options of items to choose from.

In honor of the new collection launch, NYDJ has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees to help our planet. OK! is proud to support this initiative, having five trees planted in our honor within the Umpqua National Forest — one of Oregon's most beautiful outdoor destinations. These trees will aid in benefiting the extreme loss of wildlife habitat due to the burden of wildfires across the West Coast.
With a look ahead to 2023, NYDJ is furthering their commitment to going green by setting a goal of becoming at least 50% sustainable.
