Tiffany 'New York' Pollard Debuts Limited-Edition Nail Polish Line, HBIC Ink — Plus, Details On Her Upcoming Show 'Hot Haus'
Reality TV OG. Head B***h In Charge. “New York”. For years, Tiffany Pollard has been known by all of these titles — but now, she can add cosmetics connoisseur to that list. OK! can exclusively announce that the beloved TV personality has partnered with Orca to sell a 4-pack of limited-edition nail polishes.
“This is my first product ever and I literally put my heart and soul into HBIC Ink,” Pollard, 39, tells OK!. “It is a fabulous nail lacquer line that really speaks to the true HBIC within all of us.”
Noting she typically opts to wear “a lot of black,” the Flavor of Love star shares that she set out to create the “bold” collection — consisting of blue, red, yellow and green — to be her OOTD’s “pop of color”.
But what makes Pollard’s line differ from the others on the market is the inspiration behind each color.
“The first color that I'm so excited to introduce is Boss Up Blue,” Pollard says, noting the striking hue is all about “taking charge, taking control and being your own boss.’
The former reality star recommends the vibrant Go Go Juice Red to “get you racing and get you going” for the weekend: “We love a good cranberry and vodka, but for my girls who don’t drink, Go Go Juice can still speak to you like an energy drink or a strong cup of coffee.”
Zero Caution Yellow, a cheerful shade, was inspired by Pollard’s boss babe side. “It’s so important for us to speak boldly and [not] put up caution tape,” the I Love New York star explains. “If you need to say it, be that HBIC that you are and just get it all out.”
Last but not least, an enticing green — appropriately named Currency. “We always want to get to the next bag,” she laughs. “We always gonna take that almighty dollar, be entrepreneurs, follow our dreams and increase our capital.”
“It’s beautiful too,” adds the Famously Single alum.
The best part? The line (so limited that each box is numbered!) is cruelty-free, vegan and made in the U.S.A, which Pollard stressed was “so important” during the designing process: “I just want to take care of everyone and make sure they’re safe … like I said, my heart and soul is behind this.”
Meanwhile, loyal fans who watched Pollard look for love for four entertaining years on VH1 will be pleased to know she’s returning to the small screen: This time, as the host of Hot Haus.
“We have gotten such a huge message across. We are basically looking for the next gay icon,” the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant says of the series, set to air on OutTV in 2022. “When I say that the contestants poured their hearts out and left their souls on the stage, they were amazing.”
“The winner won a huge grand prize,” Pollard tells OK! “I'm just so excited about it.” (Here's to hoping we get another GIF-worthy moment out of it!)
HBIC Ink drops on Friday, November 19, and can be purchased here.
